Auto Tools

Our place, Auto Tools, is actually inside Flora Apartment, specifically in Flat 502. It's on SN Road in Mulund West. It might seem a bit unusual to have a business like this in an apartment building, but it works out fine for what we do. The climb up to the fifth floor is part of the daily routine, though the lift usually works well enough. Being in Mulund West means we are in a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on a main highway, but the street outside is still plenty busy during the day. Inside the flat, we have converted the rooms to hold all sorts of tools and supplies. It isn’t a showroom; it’s more of a functional space where we pack things and handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with boxes in the hallway, especially when a big delivery arrives. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of someone typing or the clinking of metal tools being moved around. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea, which is where most of our conversations happen. The neighbors are used to us being here by now. It’s a simple setup that allows us to stay focused on the tools without the overhead of a big commercial store. It feels more like a home-grown operation than a corporate office. We just get on with things.
