We started this rental thing over at A 4/4 on the Old Depot Road in Andheri East because there’s always someone needing a car around here. It’s a hectic area, especially being so close to the old depot, so there is always movement. We keep a variety of cars parked up, and honestly, keeping them all clean and running right is a full-time job in itself. You wouldn't believe how dusty the cars get just sitting out for a day. People come to us for all sorts of reasons, maybe a trip out of the city or just because their own car is in the shop. We handle the keys, the forms, and check the tanks. It’s pretty straightforward. Sometimes we are running behind because a customer brings a car back late, and we have to scramble to get it ready for the next person. That’s just the nature of the business. We don't have a flashy showroom or anything like that. It’s just an office where we keep the logs and the spare sets of keys. The traffic on Old Depot Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we’re used to it by now. We just try to be fair with people and make sure the cars are safe to drive. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking tires, but it keeps the lights on for us.
