Asmacs

We’ve been at Nariman Point for a while now. The junction of 16 and 30 road is always busy, and there’s a lot of traffic out there. People walk by all day long. We just do our work here at Asmacs. It’s an old building, number 123, and the elevator is pretty slow sometimes. We handle a lot of papers every single day. Sometimes we go out for tea when things get a bit too much. It’s just what we do. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything like that. Just some basic desks and computers that have seen better days. It gets loud outside with all the cars honking, but you get used to it. We’ve stayed here because it’s central and everyone knows where we are located. We’ve seen many businesses come and go over the years. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks. It’s not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. Sometimes the rainy season makes things a bit difficult with the leaks, but we manage somehow. My desk is right near the window, so I watch the street a lot. Nariman Point has changed quite a bit since we first started. We remember when it was a lot quieter. Now it’s just constant movement and noise. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t.
