Our office is in Greenland Apartments, specifically B-2 601. J.B. Nagar is a loud, busy part of Andheri East, but we’ve gotten used to the constant hum of traffic. We’ve been dealing with steel for a long time now. It’s not the kind of work that gets you on the news, but it keeps us busy. My desk is almost always a mess with printouts and old invoices. We mainly help people find the right industrial steel bits they need. The afternoon sun hits the windows hard, so it gets pretty warm in here around three o'clock. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. It’s just a regular apartment turned into a workspace. Sometimes the lift in the building breaks down, and we have to walk up, which is a good workout I suppose. We have watched Andheri change from a quieter place to this massive hub. Through all that, we’ve just stayed here doing our thing. It involves a lot of phone calls and double-checking stock lists with the warehouse. It’s a bit boring to some, but we like the routine. If you ever come by, Greenland is easy to find near the station. We usually have some tea around four and talk about the day. It’s just an honest, local operation. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. The steel business is heavy and literal, and we just keep the wheels turning for the folks who rely on us.
