Ashtavinayak Cranes

We’ve been running Ashtavinayak Cranes out of Masjid Bunder for a good while now. Our office is located at 504 Bharat Chambers on Plot No. 52 - C along Baroda Street. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy and cramped it gets with all the trucks and people moving everywhere. We deal with cranes mostly. It’s heavy work and the salt air from being so close to the docks doesn't make things any easier on the equipment, but we manage to keep everything running. My father started things here and now we just keep the routine going day by day. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some metal desks, a lot of old files, and a few phones that never seem to stop ringing. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow or just doesn't work, so we end up taking the stairs quite a lot. Most of our guys are out on job sites most of the day, so it’s usually just a couple of us here handling the paperwork and the incoming calls. We try to keep things simple and practical. There isn't much to say other than we work hard and try to stay on top of the maintenance schedules. The traffic on Baroda Street can be a nightmare in the afternoons, but that’s just life in East Masjid Bunder. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
