Asgar Optics

Asgar Optics is located at number 3 in the Shri Chaitanya State Bank Society in Govandi. It’s a pretty straightforward location once you get into the society grounds. Govandi is where we spend most of our time, and this spot has worked out well for us. The shop is a simple setup where we keep our tools and the things we need for the day. It’s not one of those high-end boutiques you might see in a mall. We prefer it this way, keep it local and keep it real. People from the neighborhood drop by, and we’ve gotten to know many of the faces over the years. Shri Chaitanya State Bank Society is a decent place to be based, and having the bank nearby is sometimes handy. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. Our focus is just on the lenses and frames that come across the counter. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded if a few people come in at once, but we manage. It’s a bit of a routine, opening up in the morning and seeing what the day brings. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a decent job for the folks who live around Govandi. It’s a small business run by regular people who appreciate a bit of quiet work. We have been here a while and we know how things go in this society.
