Arte Viola

Our place is up on the seventh floor of the Poonam Pearl building in Andheri West. It’s more of a studio space where we handle all our design and creative work. Since we are higher up, we get a bit of a view of the surrounding buildings and the trees, which is nice when we need to take a break. We started Arte Viola because we wanted a dedicated space to focus on our projects without too many distractions from the street. The room is usually filled with sketches, fabric samples, and different tools we use for our daily work. It’s not always the neatest place, but we know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of time here, sometimes staying late into the evening when we are right in the middle of a big project. People usually visit us by appointment because the building security can be a bit strict with visitors. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and have slowly made it our own with some old furniture and plants. It’s a small team, mostly just friends who have worked together before. We don't go in for big presentations or anything like that; we just show people what we've been making on the tables. Andheri is a busy and loud area, but once you’re up in the office, it feels a lot calmer. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work we have in front of us.
