Apollon Steel

Apollon Steel is over at Umeritaya Mention on the first floor. The address is 544 Patthe Bapu Rao Marg, right near the Gulalwadi Circle. It is a very active area, and you can hear the sounds of the circle all day long. The building is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history. We have our setup on the first floor, which is handy because we don’t have to go up too many stairs. It’s a straightforward steel business. We don’t have any polished showrooms or anything like that. The office is just a place to keep the records and talk to our customers. Gulalwadi Circle is a landmark for most people, so they don’t have a hard time finding us. The space inside is a bit tight with all the files and desks, but we make it work. It is often quite busy with people coming in and out to discuss orders. We just focus on the task in front of us. There is no corporate talk here, just plain English about what needs to be done. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and know the local rhythms well. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We drink our tea, handle the calls, and keep the steel moving. It is not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and the work gets finished.
