Finding us isn't always easy if you don't know the area, since we are inside the Daya Narayan Sharma Compound in Andheri East. We are right at number 4 in Hari Om Nagar, which is just Opposite Allahabad Bank. It’s a busy spot with cars coming and going all day long. Apollo Cabs Services is mostly run from this small space where we keep the car keys and the logs. The walls are a bit thin so we hear everything happening in the compound, but you get used to it. We spend a lot of time on our mobiles talking to the drivers who are stuck in Andheri traffic. It can get pretty stressful when everyone is calling at once, but we manage to get through the day. The tea stall nearby is where we usually spend our breaks. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped with all the files and the spare tires we have stacked in the corner. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that, just a bench for people to sit on while they wait for their ride. It's a practical setup that works for us. We’ve been in this compound for a while now and everyone knows us. Most of the work is just keeping track of where the cars are and making sure they have enough petrol. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just keep moving.
