It’s on the 1st Cross Lane, right off NM Joshi Marg. Being on the ninth floor gives us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy to look out the window. Byculla is a very old and busy part of Mumbai, and NM Joshi Marg is always crowded with people and cars. We chose City Trust CHS because it’s a solid building and it’s centrally located for what we need. We aren't a fancy catering company with a glossy brochure. We are just a small team working out of a flat. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of running a kitchen in a high-rise. Sometimes the elevator takes a while, which can be annoying when we are in a rush. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just try to get the work done every single day. The name Annalaxmi is important to us, and we try to live up to it in our own quiet way. We handle our own deliveries and our own accounts. It’s a lot of stairs and a lot of phone calls, but we’ve made a good home for the business here in B904. It’s just a normal workplace for normal people who want to keep things simple. We do what we can.
