Anmol Steel Centre

At 149, Bapu Khote Street, you’ll find our place, Anmol Steel Centre. We’re right in the middle of Jamli Mohalla, which is a busy area most of the time. Working with steel means there is always something heavy being moved around or the sound of metal hitting metal. It isn’t the quietest job, but we like being here. The street outside is narrow, so getting trucks in and out takes a bit of skill and a lot of patience. We spend most of our hours surrounded by stacks of various steel pieces. Our shop isn't a showroom; it's a place where work actually happens. You can see the dust and the wear on the walls, but that just shows how much time we spend here. Sometimes the heat in the mohalla gets to be a bit much, especially in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We have a lot of regulars who know exactly where to find us on Bapu Khote Street. They just walk in, tell us what they need, and we look through the inventory to see what’s available. It’s a very hands-on kind of day for us. We don't have any big corporate meetings or anything like that. It’s mostly just us, the steel, and the neighbors who stop by to chat while we’re working. It’s a simple life, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
