Anil Joshi

Living and working in Mulund East is quite a trip. I'm Anil Joshi, and my place is in Neelam Nagar, specifically Phase Two. If you’ve ever been to Gavan Pada Road, you know it can get pretty packed during rush hour. I’m up on the ninth floor of the Sanskar building, in flat 904/A. It’s a decent spot. You get a bit of a breeze up there which helps with the Mumbai heat. I don't really run a big corporation or have a fleet of people. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers managing things from here. The building is quite old now but it’s sturdy. I’ve spent a lot of years in this neighborhood. Most of the people around here know me as the guy who’s always on his computer or on the phone. We don't have fancy brochures or a front desk. If you come by, you’ll probably find me sitting at the dining table with papers spread out everywhere. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. But that is how I work. The lift in the building is sometimes moody, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. I like being in this part of Mumbai because everything is close by. The station isn't too far if the traffic is behaving. It’s just a regular life here, doing what I can from my home office. No big secrets or corporate talk, just work.
