Anil C Singh

This is our small space on S V Road over in Amboli 7. Anil C Singh is the name we use, but really it’s just a handful of us here working every day. S V Road is always loud with cars and buses, so it’s never truly quiet, but we got used to the sound years ago. Our place is tucked in there, and sometimes the mail gets delivered to the neighbor by mistake because the numbers are a little faded. We don't have any big fancy signs or bright lights. The shelves are a bit dusty in the corners and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise when it’s on the high setting. It’s a real working environment, not some polished office. We spend most of our time dealing with whatever comes through the door. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea while looking at the street. Other days, we are running around trying to keep up. It’s just how it is. We’ve been part of the Amboli 7 neighborhood for a while and we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a good spot even if the parking is a nightmare. We just try to do right by the people who come in and keep things moving along.
