Angel Broking

Angel Broking has a branch here in Borivali West, Mumbai. We are in the Shashank Building, specifically room C 002. It’s right at the Laxmi Narayan Mandir Chowk on Aksar Road. If you know the area, you know it’s always buzzing with people going to the temple or heading towards the station. Our office is right in the middle of all that noise. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but not by much because of the phones. We spend our days looking at market numbers and talking to people about their trading accounts. It’s a lot of data entry and explaining things over and over again. The office is functional but definitely not fancy. We have the usual stuff like a water cooler that always seems to run out and desks that are covered in sticky notes. Working in Borivali means dealing with the local train crowd, so most of us are a bit tired by the time we get in. But once we’re here, the atmosphere is pretty focused. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re on Wall Street. We’re just local people helping other local people figure out their money stuff. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we all just wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us at this branch.
