Tirupati Steels

Our office is located over in Andheri East, specifically in Greenwoods Apartment on M. V. Road. It’s a very busy part of town, especially with the metro line nearby and all the constant traffic heading towards the airport. At Tirupati Steels, we deal with exactly what the name suggests. Most of our day involves coordinating orders, checking on delivery schedules, and making sure the steel gets to the construction sites on time. The office space itself isn’t very large, so it tends to get a bit crowded when we have a lot of paperwork and ledgers piling up on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone with various suppliers and transport guys, trying to figure out where a truck is. It can get pretty loud with the street noise coming through the windows, but you honestly get used to it after a few months. We aren't some massive corporation with several floors of offices; we just run everything from this one apartment unit. Sometimes the elevator in the building is out of order or just very slow, so we end up taking the stairs several times a day. It’s a very practical way to work. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, whoever happens to be sitting closest to the door is the one who opens it. Most of our time is spent making sure the inventory lists match what we have in the yard.
