Modern Impex Corporation

Modern Impex Corporation is located at 301/15 Mhada Complex in Oshiwara, Andheri West. It is a busy place to work. We have been here for a good number of years now. Our office isn't very big, and it’s usually filled with files and some samples we keep on the shelves. We mostly deal with export and import tasks. This means a lot of time spent on the phone talking to agents or sitting at the computer checking on shipping schedules. The building itself is quite active, and you can always hear people moving around in the hallways. Sometimes the lift takes a while, so we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some maps. It’s a practical space for us. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the piles of paperwork. Andheri West is a good area because everything we need is close by. We know the local courier guys quite well since they are in and out of here all day long. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a large shipment is due, but we just handle it as it comes. It's not always easy, especially when there are delays at the port, but that’s just the nature of this business. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the daily chores without making too much of a fuss about it.
