Anant Lal

Anant Lal works out of the Mhada Delux Complex. Specifically, we are in building 5, room 501. This is in Rambaug, Powai. Mumbai is a big place, but Powai has its own specific feel. It’s gotten quite busy lately. The complex is a standard Mhada setup. Nothing too fancy, but it does the job. We are on the fifth floor, so there’s a bit of a view of the surrounding buildings. The zip code is 400076. Getting up and down the elevator can take a minute during the rush hours. We’ve been here for a while. The room is filled with the things we need to get through the day. Desks, some old files, a computer or two. It feels like a real workspace, not a showroom. Anant is the one running things. We don't have a big team. It’s mostly just a quiet spot to focus. You can hear the city outside, but inside building 5, it’s mostly just the sound of work. We don’t go in for those polished mission statements. We just show up and do what needs doing. If you’re looking for us, Rambaug is the place to head towards. Most people in the complex know where building 5 is. It’s a straightforward place for straightforward work. No fluff. We have a small window that lets in some light. It’s where we keep a few plants that probably need more water. We like it here though.
