Anand Metal Corporation

Anand Metal Corporation is tucked away on the first floor of 155/6 Panjrapole Lane. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite Surajwadi, which helps people find the entrance. The lane is usually crowded with carts and people moving stuff, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting through. Our office isn't very large, and it's mostly filled with samples of different metal pieces and stacks of old ledgers. We have been working out of this floor for quite some time now. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, so carrying heavy things up and down can be a real chore. We mostly deal with metal trading, so there’s a lot of weighing and measuring going on throughout the day. It gets a bit loud with the traffic from the street coming in through the open windows, but we don't mind it much anymore. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit by the window and wait for it to come back on. It is an old building with a lot of character, even if the ceiling leaks a tiny bit when the rain is really heavy. We know the other shopkeepers on the lane, and we usually keep our door open so the breeze can get in. It’s a practical place for a practical business, and we just keep at it every single day.
