Amir Impex

Lehri House is an old building at 81 Mohd. Ali Road and that is where we run Amir Impex. The area is always buzzing with people and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our office is part of that history. We do import and export work which means a lot of time spent on the phone or checking emails. It’s not very glamorous. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We have stacks of documents related to shipping and customs. Sometimes the internet is slow and it makes the day longer than it needs to be. We have a few desks and some very old filing cabinets that still work fine. It gets quite loud outside with the honking of cars and trucks but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We deal with various traders and merchants who are looking for specific items from abroad. There is no big corporate structure here, just a small team getting things done. We take our lunch breaks together when we can. It’s a straightforward operation and we don’t try to be anything we aren't. Being on Mohd. Ali Road means we are right in the heart of the trade district which makes logistics a bit easier for us most of the time.
