Ami Metals

Ami Metals operates out of a space in Dahisar, specifically unit B/30/2. It is a practical sort of place. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because that's not what the business is about. We deal in metals, mostly raw materials like sheets and rods. The yard area is usually full of various types of metal waiting to be sorted or sent out. You have to watch your step because there are often offcuts and scrap pieces on the ground. We use a lot of manual labor to move things around, though we have a few basic lifts for the heavier crates. The walls are just plain brick and the roof is corrugated metal, so it gets quite loud when it rains. We have a small desk where we keep the weigh-scale records and the delivery notes. It is a small team here. We all know how to handle the shears and the cutters. Sometimes the work is slow, and other times we are rushing to get a load ready for a truck that is waiting outside. We don't bother with much talk; we just get the measurements right and make sure the count is correct. It is a gritty, everyday kind of job that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of us have been working with metal our whole lives, so we know the trade well enough to skip the chatter.
