Ambe Associates

Our office is in J B Nagar, right in unit 101. It’s a fairly easy place to get to, though the traffic in this part of town can be quite a mess during the evening. We have been operating from this room for a while now. It’s a single-room setup mostly, with a small partitioned area for meetings. The windows look out onto the street, so we see a lot of people passing by all day. It’s a very lived-in space. There are stacks of paper everywhere, and the shelves are crammed with old ledgers and reference books. We aren't the type to have everything perfectly filed in digital folders; we still like having the physical copies around. The air conditioner is old and makes a lot of noise, so we usually just leave the windows open if it isn't too hot outside. We have a small kettle for making tea, which we do several times a day. Most of our work is just handling the day-to-day requirements of the people who walk through the door. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us answering the phone and typing up what needs to be typed. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We know the neighbors in the building, and we sometimes share snacks in the hallway. It’s a comfortable enough spot to spend eight or nine hours a day doing what we do.
