We are located on the fifth floor of Nav Vyapar Bhavan, right on P. D’Mello Road. Masjid Bunder is always a bit chaotic, especially with all the trucks and loaders moving around outside. Being at 515 means we have a bit of a view of the street, though mostly it’s just traffic. We handle tubes and similar metal goods. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to coordinate everything. The office isn’t much to look at, just desks and stacks of invoices. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure the transport is on time. It’s a heavy industry kind of place. Sometimes the lifts in the building are slow, which is a pain when you’re in a hurry. We’ve been operating from this East side of the station for a long time. People know us for being reliable with our stock. We don’t do any flashy marketing. Most of our clients have been with us for a decade or more. It’s just how things work in this part of Mumbai. You find a spot that works and you stick to it. The noise from the port and the road is constant, but you get used to it. We keep our operations straightforward. No need for anything fancy when you’re just moving steel tubes from one place to another. We usually have a bit of chai in the afternoon while sorting through the delivery notes for the next day.
