Amar Metals

Out here in Goregaon East, specifically in the 4th Phase of the 11th Cross, things stay pretty loud. We are located in the Gajraj Compound, which is a busy industrial patch. Amar Metals is mostly just a place where we handle a lot of heavy stuff. If you come by, you’ll see stacks of metal sheets, rods, and scraps all over the floor. It’s a dusty environment and the sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. We aren't really the type for a fancy office setup. Our workspace is mostly open to the air, which helps when the machines are running and it gets hot. We’ve got a small area where we keep the paperwork, but even that usually has a layer of grime on it. That’s just the nature of the metal business. People come in and out looking for specific pieces or wanting something cut to size. We know the other guys in the compound well, and we often help each other out when someone needs a tool or an extra hand with a heavy load. It’s a gritty, hard-working kind of place. We don't have a website that looks professional or a big marketing plan. We just show up every morning, move the metal, and get the orders out to the trucks waiting in the lane. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset in this part of Goregaon.
