Alpha Tools

Alpha Tools is located on the ground floor at 17 Bhandup West, right on Hal Airport Road. It’s a convenient spot because we don’t have to lug heavy equipment up any stairs. The street outside is almost always congested, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a puzzle. We deal with various hand and power tools, mostly stocking what local tradespeople need. The shop is a bit cramped, with shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a ladder for the stuff on the top rows, which is a bit of a workout. The air inside always has a faint smell of oil and new metal. It’s just a few of us here, and we take turns handling the counter and organizing the back. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we have to go back to writing things by hand until it comes back. We’ve got a small fan near the desk that barely does anything, but it’s better than nothing. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we look out for each other. It’s a simple life, coming in every morning and seeing who needs what tool for their job. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the shop running.
