Ali Al Ghani Associates

Our office is located at No. 53 on Victoria Road. We are right in the Mustafa Bazar area, near St Savata Mali Marg in Byculla. It is a crowded part of Mumbai, always something going on outside. Ali Al Ghani Associates is a small operation. We work out of a room that is packed with files and papers. You can hear the sounds of the market and the traffic from the street all day long. It's an old building, so the stairs can be a bit steep. We spend our time going through documents and meeting with people who come in for help. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a place with some desks and a couple of fans. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while we catch up on work. Most of our days are spent on the phone or writing things down. We know the shopkeepers nearby, and sometimes we grab lunch from the stalls on the corner. The pace is fast because that’s just how Byculla is. We try to stay on top of everything, but sometimes the paperwork piles up. We don't have a big marketing team. People find us by word of mouth or by just walking past our door on Victoria Road. It is practical work for practical people. We just do what needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit. We just wait for it. It is how it goes.
