Al Shafa Cool Cab

Al Shafa Cool Cab is based out of Room No 1 in Achaiber Chawl. We are over in Andheri East, right opposite the Congress Office. It’s a small room where we keep the keys and take the phone calls. The area around 1st A Cross and 6th Main is always packed with people and traffic. We have a few cars running around the city at all hours. Usually, the phone starts ringing early in the morning for airport drops or office trips. It’s a lot of managing drivers and checking the oil. The chawl is a lively place, so there’s always noise outside the door. We aren’t a big company with a call center. It’s just us making sure the cabs get to where they need to be. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a mess, and we have to tell people we will be late. We try to be honest about the timing. The drivers stop by to hand over the cash and chat for a bit before heading back out. It’s hard work being on the road in this heat. We keep the cars as clean as we can, but the city dust is a constant battle. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. People in the neighborhood know us as the cab guys near the 4th Block. Knowing the shortcuts around the 3rd Stage area helps us get through the traffic patterns.
