We are located at Shop No. 1 inside Cecil Court, which is at 24 Mahakavi Bhushan Marg in the Colaba area. It is a solid old building. Since we are in Colaba, we see all kinds of people passing by our window every single day. Some are just visiting the city and others have lived here their whole lives. Our shop, Ajmal Fragrances & Flavours Pvt. Ltd., is a place where we work with different scents and taste ingredients. It is a bit of a small space, so everything is packed in pretty tight. We spend our time mixing things and making sure the containers are filled up. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling with various jars and bottles on them. Colaba can be a very loud place because of the traffic and the tourists, but inside Cecil Court, it stays a little quieter. We don't bother with fancy job titles or big office meetings. We just focus on the fragrances and the flavors we are handling that day. The people working here know the business well because they have been doing it for a long time. We don't have a big corporate handbook to follow. Most of what we do is just based on experience. Sometimes we step out for a quick tea and talk to the other shop owners on the street. It is a good place to be, and we just keep our heads down and do the work.
