Down in the heart of Kumbharwada, you'll find us at A-14 on the 2nd floor of 125 Patel Mans. This area is famous for all the metalwork and workshops, and we are right in the thick of it. The sounds of hammering and machines are constant throughout the day. Our space isn't huge, but we have our equipment set up to make the most of it. It’s usually quite warm because of the work being done. We deal with various metal projects, so there are always scraps and tools laying around. We try to keep it tidy, but by noon, it’s usually a bit of a mess again. The stairs up to the second floor are narrow, so moving large pieces can be a real challenge. We’ve had to get creative with ropes and pulleys sometimes. Patel Mans is an old building, but it’s sturdy. We know all the other metalworkers in the street. It’s a tight community where everyone is busy with their own trade. We spend our time welding, cutting, and checking measurements. It’s hard on the hands, but we take pride in what we finish. There’s no air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum along with the machines. We just keep our heads down and get the metal shaped how it needs to be. It’s what we do for a living.
