Ajay Fabricators

Ajay Fabricators is based out of Room No 8 in Bhim Nagar. We are located in Malad East, specifically in the Kurar area. If you are coming this way, we are near the Sakinaka side, right opposite the Khadi Machine Gate. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there is always the sound of machines and metal hitting metal. Our workshop is where all the hard work happens. It’s usually quite hot because of the welding and the lack of big windows. We have tools hanging on the walls and pieces of iron sitting in the corners. It’s a messy place, to be honest, with sparks and dust everywhere, but that’s how fabrication goes. We don't wear fancy clothes here; usually, it’s just old shirts that we don't mind getting dirty. The street outside is narrow and can get quite muddy when it rains. We have a small bench where we take our lunch breaks. Most of the people around here are doing similar work, so we all know each other. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you want to talk to us, you just walk in and find someone who isn't busy with a torch. We just focus on getting the jobs finished so we can move on to the next one. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every day in Bhim Nagar. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but we just wait it out and start again.
