Our place, Abyssinia Impex, is tucked away in the Kanara Business Centre, specifically at A2. If you know the Ghatkopar Link Road area, we’re right behind that big Everest Gardens building in Laxminagar. It’s a busy part of Ghatkopar East, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we handle our daily import and export tasks. We’ve been here for a bit now, navigating the narrow streets and the local traffic which can be a real headache in the afternoons. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, checking emails and talking to the folks we do business with. It’s not a corporate setup with glass walls and suit-and-tie dress codes. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable and get on with the day’s list. We deal with a lot of different things coming and going, so there’s always a stack of documents on someone’s desk or a phone ringing in the corner. Sometimes we grab lunch from the stalls nearby because the food around here is actually pretty good. It’s a bit cramped in the building sometimes, especially when multiple deliveries arrive at once, but we make it work. We aren't interested in sounding bigger than we are. We're just a local business doing our part in the supply chain from this little corner of Mumbai. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we know.
