Abyss & Horizon Consulting is based out of Manuel House in Bhandup East. We’re located near the Ashok Nagar area, which is a fairly busy part of Mumbai 42. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Manuel House is an older building, so it has that lived-in feel with narrow hallways and a lot of stairs. Inside, we’ve got our consulting setup, which is mostly just desks, shelves full of folders, and a few whiteboards that are covered in scribbles and notes. We spend our time talking to clients and trying to figure out solutions for their business problems. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, interspersed with plenty of phone calls. The light in the office isn't the best, so we have a few extra lamps sitting around to help us see what we’re doing. We get our tea from a small shop downstairs, and the owner knows exactly how we like it. There’s no corporate polish here. We wear casual clothes most of the time and keep things relaxed. Sometimes we get distracted by the noise from the street or the birds on the window ledge, but we eventually get back to the work at hand. It’s a solid, local operation where we just focus on being practical. We don't have a big fancy lobby, so if you come by, you’ll likely just walk straight into where we’re working. It's just how we operate.
