Abhishek Car Rental

Abhishek Car Rental is run out of my place in Ajanta Lolara Society. Specifically, we are in A305 at the D P Co-operative Housing Society. It’s more of a home office setup than a commercial shop. I started this with just one car a few years ago. Now we have a small fleet that stays parked in the society lot or nearby. My wife helps with the bookings while I handle the drivers and the car maintenance. The living room is where we keep the keys and the registration papers. It can get a bit chaotic when three drivers show up at the same time to start their shifts. We don't have a big neon sign. Neighbors know what we do. People from the society often rent from us for weekend trips or weddings. We spend a lot of time cleaning the cars and checking the oil. It’s a 24-hour job because people call at all hours needing a ride. We keep a diary on the kitchen table to track who has which car. It’s a local operation, nothing fancy. We just try to make sure the cars are running okay and the drivers show up on time. It can be tiring when a car breaks down at night, but that is part of the business. We focus on getting people where they need to go without making things too complicated for them or for us.
