Abhijeet Rubber Company is located at Number 1, Subhash Nagar, right in the Aslapha Villa area of Ghatkopar West. We are directly opposite Ashapura Estate, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of rubber. It’s a very specific scent that stays on your clothes long after you leave. We have been in this spot for a long time. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks from where we moved some heavy stock years ago. We handle all sorts of rubber parts and materials. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. The office part is just a small corner with an old wooden desk and a calendar that is usually a month behind. We get a lot of local workers and contractors coming in. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the trucks passing by outside. When it rains, we have to make sure everything is covered properly because the dampness isn't good for the stock. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People mostly know us because they've been coming here for years. We eat our lunch together at the back table. It is a practical place where we just get the work done. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a regular business in a busy part of Ghatkopar.
