Aashray Special School

Aashray Special School is a place we started to help kids who need a bit more attention and a different way of learning. We don't have a big fancy campus with gates and guards. It’s more of a community-focused effort. Most people get in touch with us through the email address Neelam_Kakadeyahoo.Com because we’re often busy with the children and can't always pick up the phone right away. We spend our days working on basic skills, playing games, and trying to help everyone feel included. It’s not always easy work, and some days are definitely harder than others, but it’s what we chose to do. The staff here are just regular people who care about these kids. We don't have a big budget for advertising or anything like that. We rely on the families who come here and the people in the neighborhood who know us. The classroom setup is pretty simple, just the essentials. We try to keep things calm and organized, though with kids, it usually ends up being a bit messy and loud. That’s just the way it goes. We’re not trying to be the biggest school around, just a safe place where these students can come and be themselves. It’s a lot of patience and small steps every single day. We just do what we can with the resources we have. Sometimes the paint on the walls gets chipped and things break, but we just fix them and keep going.
