We are based over at Liberty Garden 1. It’s a fairly easy place to find once you are in the neighborhood. The office isn't very large, but it serves its purpose for the work we do. As consultants and valuers, we spend a fair amount of time out of the office looking at different sites and buildings, but this is where we come back to write up our notes. There’s a desk for the computer and a few chairs for when clients come in to talk. We keep a lot of reference books and old records on the shelves. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most, and the curtains have faded a little from the sun. We don't have a receptionist, so usually, whoever is closest to the door gets up to say hello. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We might have the radio playing softly in the background while we work on our reports. The neighborhood around Liberty Garden is pretty nice, and there are some good spots nearby to grab lunch. We aren't really concerned with looking like those big city firms with all the glass and steel. We like this quiet corner where we can actually focus on the details. Our files are mostly kept in cardboard boxes that are labeled with thick markers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us.
