Aaftab Tea Company is right here at Plot No. -29 on Maulana Shaukatali Road. We are in the Haroon Manzil building, which you can’t miss if you are near the J.J. Hospital Signal. It’s a really busy area of the city. We are right next to J.J. Jalebi and the Alamgir Hotel, so there is always a lot of food being cooked and people walking by. It gets quite loud with the traffic and the sirens from the hospital. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. We deal with all kinds of tea every day. Most of our time is spent moving heavy sacks or sorting through the stock we have in the back. The shop isn't very large, but we make it work. It’s a bit dusty because of the tea leaves, but that is just part of the business. We don't have any fancy signs or a big sales team. It’s just a few of us here making sure the orders are ready. We start our day early when the street is quiet and work until the evening. We drink a lot of tea ourselves while we wait for people to come by. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of town. We know our neighbors and the people who work the stalls nearby.
