A One Tea House

We run A One Tea House out of House No. 17/77 in Jain Society. It’s actually Flat No. 17 on the 3rd floor of Building No. 77. We’re located in Sion West, not far from Dr Ambedkar Road. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit different from having a shop on the main street. We use the space to manage our tea business. It’s a bit of a climb up to the third floor, especially when we’re carrying samples or bags, but we’ve gotten used to the stairs. The society is usually quiet during the day when everyone is at work. We set up our desks and storage in the flat. It’s a bit tight sometimes with all the boxes around, but it works for us. Being near Dr Ambedkar Road means we can get to other parts of Mumbai pretty easily when we need to. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or by looking for the specific building in Jain Society. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which is fine by us. We make our own tea in the kitchen and spend the day answering calls or checking orders. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello. It’s a small-scale operation, just us and our tea. We like the neighborhood feel of Sion West. It’s a busy city, but our little corner is fairly peaceful.
