We operate out of Madhumahal in Kanya Pada, which is on Filmcity Road in Goregaon East. Our unit is 1-B/6, and we are quite close to the Maharaja Towers, which is a big landmark around here. Since we do packing and moving, our place is almost always full of cardboard boxes, rolls of tape, and heaps of bubble wrap. It is a bit of a mess to be honest, but it is an organized mess. We spend our mornings loading up the trucks and making sure we have enough blankets to wrap up furniture. Filmcity Road is always busy with film sets and people coming and going, so we have to be careful with the timing of our trucks so we don't get stuck in a massive jam. The guys are usually out on the road most of the day, so the office part of the unit stays quiet until they come back in the evening. We have some old desks where we keep track of the schedules and the inventory. It is hard work, lifting heavy wardrobes and refrigerators up and down stairs, especially in the heat. But we have been doing this for a while now in the Goregaon area. People around Kanya Pada know us, and we often see the same faces every day. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the essentials for getting people moved from one house to another without too much trouble.
