A-1 Consultant

You’ll find us over in Chembur West at the M.S. Building. We are up in Room 734, so it’s a bit of a climb or a wait for the elevator. Chembur Colony is a place where everyone kind of knows where everything is, but our building can be a bit confusing for people visiting the first time. The office isn’t very large. It’s mostly just desks, a couple of filing cabinets that don't always close right, and some stacks of papers that we promise to sort through eventually. A-1 Consultant has been operating out of this room for quite a bit. The light comes in through one window that looks out over C.G. Road. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day, kids playing or people going about their business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the computers. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the shops downstairs. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we just sit there waiting for it to come back on so we can finish what we were doing. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a small office doing what we do. We usually have some tea around four o'clock and talk about what’s for dinner. It’s a simple setup and it suits us just fine. Most days we are out of here by six unless something urgent comes up.
