There are hardware shops and traders everywhere you look. It can be quite a struggle just to walk down the street sometimes because of all the carts and people. We’ve been here for a good while. Our office on the second floor is a bit removed from the noise of the street, which is helpful when we need to concentrate. It’s a typical old-style trading office. We have shelves full of ledgers and boxes. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just trade. Some days are slow, and other days we can't seem to find enough hours. Being a private limited company sounds formal, but we’re just regular people. We know the other shopkeepers around 59 Nagdevi Street and usually grab lunch from the local stalls. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we’re carrying things. It’s a solid, honest place to work. We don’t have a website with fancy graphics or anything like that. We just rely on being here and doing the work that needs doing. It’s been our home for years and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. The street has a lot of character and we are glad to be part of it.
