Sendriya Patur Farmers Producer Company Limited

You might find it a bit odd that Sendriya Patur Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in a mall, but that’s where we are. We’re located at 2C on the 2nd Floor of Citi Mall, right on New Link Road in Andheri West. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, far away from the actual fields, but this is where we handle the business side of things for the farmers. We deal with a lot of paperwork and coordination from this office. The noise from the street below is constant, but inside we just focus on getting the produce moved and making sure the farmers get what they need. Being in Mumbai City helps us stay connected to the bigger markets. We don’t have a big team or a flashy reception area. It’s just a functional space with a few desks and a lot of files. Most of our members are out in the rural areas of Maharashtra, and we serve as their link to the city. We chose Andheri because it’s accessible, even if the traffic on New Link Road is usually a mess. We aren't trying to be a high-end corporate office. We’re just a group of people working for a producer company, trying to make things work from the second floor of a mall. It’s practical for us and allows us to stay on top of the logistics required for our work. It can be loud sometimes, but we get things done regardless.
