Our setup is located in Kanjur Marg East at the Pariwar CHSL building. We are in unit C-B- 702. It is right near the Kanjur Marg Police Station, which is a good landmark if you are visiting. We go by Sankrail Farmers Producer Company Limited. Even though we are in Mumbai City, 400042, our hearts and our work are tied to the farms. We use this office to manage the side of farming that doesn't involve dirt and rain. It’s mostly organizing the logistics and making sure the farmers get paid on time. It is a collective effort. We have people from different backgrounds helping out. Some of us know the land and others are better at the office work. It gets loud in here sometimes with everyone talking at once. We don't have a corporate vibe at all. It is more like a family business where everyone just pitches in where they can. We deal with the daily problems that come up, like trucks being late or paperwork getting stuck in some government office. It’s just real life. We are trying to make a go of it as a producer company because we think it's the right way to handle agriculture these days. We’ve been at Nehru Nagar for a bit now and we just take things as they come. We aren't looking to be the biggest, just trying to be a reliable spot for the people we work with.
