You can find us over at 402, Kala Mandir in Vile Parle East, Mumbai. We are tucked away on Play Ground Cross Road 1, just off Chitrakar Ketkar Marg. It’s a lively neighborhood, and having the playground so close means there’s always noise and activity around. Our work involves managing Raija Farms, and even though we are in the heart of the city, we stay busy with all the details of agricultural life. The office is where we do the heavy lifting of planning and paperwork. It’s not a large space, but it’s enough for our small team to sit down and get things sorted. We handle everything from seed orders to payroll for the farm workers from this one room. The building has been around for a while, and we’ve gotten to know the other people who work in the complex. It’s a very typical Mumbai office experience—tight spaces, humming fans, and the sound of traffic outside. We don’t put on any airs about what we do. It’s just work. We keep track of the weather reports and market prices on our screens while the city carries on around us. Sometimes we wish we were out in the fields instead of sitting under tube lights, but this is where the business side of things gets handled. We keep it straightforward and don’t bother with much decoration or fancy furniture. It’s a functional space for a functional business.
