You can find Orkafarm Llp over in Goregaon East. We are on the third floor of Akshay Apt Chs Ltd, which is in the Naikwadi area just off Aarey Road. It is a bit of a climb up to room 302 if the elevator is acting up, which happens more often than we would like. Working in Goregaon means we deal with a lot of noise and the constant hum of the city, but being off Aarey Road gives us a little bit of a connection to the greener parts of the area. We focus on the farming side of things, even though our main office is in a residential building. It's a bit of a strange mix, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking on how the crops are doing further out. The office is usually filled with the smell of tea and the sound of someone typing away on an old keyboard. We started Orkafarm because we wanted to do something that felt real and connected to the land, even if we are stuck in an apartment most of the day. There is always a lot of paperwork to fill out for the government and the transport guys. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to tell us how to sound professional, so we just do our work and hope for the best every day.
