We are located in Goregaon West, right in the Kshitij building at G. E. Links on Ram Mandir Road. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, which is a bit different from the farms we actually work with. Having an office here helps us stay connected with the city side of the business. We are a green farmers producer company, so we spend a lot of time bridging the gap between the rural areas and the urban markets. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside we are usually just busy on the phones or looking over maps. We started this because we wanted a better way to bring fresh stuff into the city. It’s a lot of logistics. You have to worry about the trucks getting stuck in traffic or the produce getting too hot in the back. We aren't some big corporate entity with hundreds of employees. There’s just a handful of us here in room 1201A. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep everything organized, which isn't always easy. Some days it feels like we are just chasing our tails, but then a shipment arrives and it all feels worth it. We know the farmers we work with personally. They trust us to handle the city side of things so they can focus on the growing. It’s a practical arrangement that works for everyone involved. We’re just trying to keep the business growing steadily.
