Andheri East is a busy place, and our spot at Fine Aura on Military Road reflects that. We are at Cts No.284/9, which is easy enough to find if you know the neighborhood. While Andheri is full of big glass buildings, Govind Ganga Farmers Producer Company Limited is more about the roots. We deal with farmers, even though we have this office in the city. It’s where the planning happens. You might see us looking at maps or talking to suppliers on the phone all morning. The traffic outside on Military Road never really stops, but inside we are focused on what’s happening back on the farms. We don’t have those receptionists or the coffee machines you see in other Andheri offices. It’s just desks, chairs, and people trying to get things done. We handle the logistics and the sales side of things from here. It’s a lot of coordination between the growers and the buyers. Sometimes the paperwork gets messy and the days are long, but being in the city helps us connect with the markets better. People come in and out, mostly folks we’ve known for years who are dropping off documents or checking on their accounts. It’s a practical setup for us. Having a base in Mumbai helps get the produce where it needs to go. We are just a group of people working hard to bridge the gap between the rural fields and the urban market, without all the extra stuff.
