We are Chincholi Morachi Farmers Producer Company Limited, and you can find us at Room Number 10 in Utkarsh Nagar. We are located in Bhandup, which is a busy part of Mumbai. It’s a bit of a tight space, but it works for what we need. Even though we are in the middle of a huge city, our focus is entirely on farmers and their production. We act as a bridge for them. Being in Mumbai City gives us a good connection to the markets, but our hearts are really out in the fields. We spend a lot of time on the phone with people from the rural areas. The office in Bhandup is where the planning happens. It’s a modest setup with just the basics. We don't see the point in spending money on expensive furniture when the work happens elsewhere. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and coordinating with transport. It can get pretty loud in the office when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how it is in Mumbai. We’ve been here for a while and the locals in Utkarsh Nagar know us. We are just a bunch of people trying to make the farming business a bit more organized. There are no fancy titles here, we all just do what needs to be done to help the producers we represent.
