You wouldn’t think a farm tech company would be in Santacruz East, but that’s where Agricoz Farmtech Solutions Private Limited is. We are in Chaitanya Co-Op Hsg. Soc. Ltd on Nehru Road. It’s a crowded area with a lot of noise from the street, but inside the office, we are mostly thinking about tractors and tools. We try to find ways to make farming a bit easier for people who are still doing everything by hand. Being in Mumbai helps with the tech side of things, even if the fields are far away. We have our small space at 3/57 where we meet and talk about designs or software. It’s a basic office, nothing special to look at. We drink a lot of chai and look at screens most of the day. The Nehru Road traffic is always there in the background, which is a big change from the quiet farms we deal with. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just trying to fix some small problems that farmers face. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a new idea works, and sometimes it doesn't. We just keep trying. People ask why we are in Santacruz, and we just say it’s where we ended up. It’s a good spot for catching the train or meeting people coming from the airport. We just keep working on our things and hope it helps someone out there in the rural parts. It’s a bridge between the city and the village, even if it’s just a small office.
