Shree Zikiyari Prathmik Shala

Shree Zikiyari Prathmik Shala is the primary school for the village of Zinkiyali. We are located in the Morbi district, with the pin code 363641. Since we are a primary school, our days are filled with younger children. It can get quite loud with all the laughing and running around. Zinkiyali is not a very large place, so the school is one of the main spots where people gather. The building is basic, just a few rooms for the different grades. We have a small playground, but it’s mostly just dirt and some old equipment. In the summer, it gets very hot here in Morbi, so we try to keep the kids in the shade during the middle of the day. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been teaching for a long time. We don't have much in the way of computers or fancy gadgets. We use books, slates, and chalk. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. Parents often stop by the gate to drop off lunch or to talk to us about how their children are doing. There is no formal front desk; you just walk in and find whoever you are looking for. We don't have a big budget, so we fix things ourselves when they break. It’s just a simple village school where kids start their journey into learning. It’s been here a long time and the walls have a lot of stories to tell.
