Our little pre-school is tucked away over on Mahendra Drive, right near Nani Bazar in Morbi. If you live around here, you’ve probably heard the kids playing outside. It’s a small place, mostly just a few rooms filled with toys and drawings on the walls. We started this because there wasn't much for the younger kids in this part of town. Every morning is a bit of a scramble getting everyone settled in. Some kids cry when their moms leave, while others just run straight for the building blocks. We spend a lot of time just making sure everyone is safe and has something to do. Morbi can get pretty busy, and Nani Bazar is always moving, so we try to keep our little corner a bit more relaxed. The floor is usually covered in crayons or bits of paper by noon. We don't have a huge playground, just a small area where they can run around for a bit before snack time. The neighbors are used to the noise by now. We aren't trying to be some high-end institution; it’s just a place for toddlers to start learning how to sit still and share their things. It gets a bit messy, and things aren't always perfectly in order, but the kids seem okay with it. We just take it one day at a time here on Mahendra Drive. The front door sticks a bit when it rains, but we just give it a good shove.
